Charlie Higson The Enemy book cover - interview for Hampshire Libraries Love Your Library podcast

‘If in doubt, go to the library’ – Charlie Higson interview

It’s a celebration of reading in this episode of the podcast, featuring author and actor Charlie Higson. Charlie is a keen supporter of the Reading Agency and the annual library Summer Reading Challenge. We talk to Charlie about how he got involved in writing young James Bond books and the lengths he went to scare his youngest son with his young adult horror Enemy novels.

We discuss three recommended books with the library team at Andover Library:
The Salt Path by Raynor Winn
Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

You’ll find links to other books we’ve mentioned on our library blog.

Let us know if you’ve read and enjoyed any of the books we’ve talked about. Get in touch through the Hampshire Libraries website.

Thanks to our guest Charlie Higson and the library team at Andover Library. And many thanks once again to Doc Jon for our podcast music.
